After helping run a successful business for over 15 years, I have found a true passion for real estate. I am passionate about helping families and individuals navigate what can oftentimes be an intimidating and complex process, from choosing the perfect home location, price point, school districts, and ultimately negotiating the best offer. Whether you are buying or selling a home, with the right realtor, it does not have to be stressful. I have lived the in the Middle Tennessee area for over 20 years, and if you enlist the help of me and my team, I am confident we will find exactly what you are looking for at a fair market price.

About Rebecca

I spent 25 years in education before transitioning to Benchmark Realty, LLC. Prior to real estate, I was proud to serve as an Executive Director in the Tennessee Department of Education and professor at Middle Tennessee State University. I am a Middle Tennessee native and my prior position at the State Department helped me become very familiar with all middle Tennessee counties both large and small.

My professional goal is to walk through life with honesty and integrity. I take my passion as a teacher to help my clients make home buying and selling as easy as possible. It is an honor changing from a Doctor of Education to a real estate agent to help people reduce any stress of selling or purchasing a new home. Please do not hesitate reaching out us. After almost two decades spent as a small business woman, as well as years spent on the investor side of the real estate, I have learned a few things.

2) Clear and direct communication is key.
3) One size fits all doesn’t work, every experience should be tailored to the client.
4) Investing doesn’t have to be scary.

Being raised in Rutherford county, and living in Murfreesboro in particular, gives me unique insight into all of the extraordinary things our ‘little big town’ has to offer. I can’t imagine raising my son, Asher, anywhere else! Between our beloved church, our family, and the endless amount of places to explore here, I am proud to call our community HOME.

Lora chose Murfreesboro as her home 10 years ago and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She is passionate about helping people and building a strong community. Having worked in the foster and adoption field, Lora honed her passion for helping families and finding permanency for children in need. How do I Get Started?

The first step is to have a face-to-face meeting to either map out a time frame to put your house on the market or determine what you are looking for in a home purchase.

If you are a seller, we will discuss how to stage your home, to assure that you can maximize your listing price. Using rational comparable sales in your area, we will determine either the right listing price for the sale of your home, or the correct offering price if you are purchasing a home. We will fully explain the inspection process, and assist in finding the best subcontractors for any necessary repairs that might come to light in that process. We will help you understand more complex transactions, such as what to do if there is a multiple listing situation and beyond.
